Gluten Free Cinnamon Sugar Scones

These yummy chummies are perfect fer breakfast or a quick snack on the go.  Great with coffee too, if you're that kind of lady.

Gluten Free Cinnamon Sugar Scones

Makes 8 - 16 Scones
Gluten Free ● Egg FreeDairy Free ● Soy FreeCasein Free


2 cups  Wholesome Chow's All-Purpose Baking Mix
1 tsp Baking Powder
3-5 tbsp Coconut Oil, cold (or Butter)
2 tbsp Cinnamon
1/4 cup Sugar
1/2 - 1/3 cup Non-Dairy or Dairy Milk

1.   Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a cookie sheet.
2.   Combine baking mix and baking powder.
3.   Using a fork, mash the coconut oil into the dry ingredients.
4.   Add cinnamon, sugar and milk.  Mix with fork until crumbly adding more coconut oil as needed.    Knead into a firm dough forms and place onto a floured work surface.
5.  Cut into 2 inch pieces and roll to about 1/2” flat. Place on cookie sheet.
6.  Bake until lightly golden brown, about 12 - 14 minutes.  Sprinkle with more sugar and bake another 2 minutes.  Let cool for 5 minutes and enjoy! 

Feel free to play around with this recipe!  Add your favorite dried fruit, nuts and more.  You can also make a delicious icing to go on top, if you have a sweet tooth.

  1. These sound so. so. GOOD! I'm thinking a handful of pecans and a drizzle of maple syrup would be to die for. ;)
